This year our theme is: "Solidly United: Building the Black LGBT Community Brick by Brick".  This year's theme focuses on building relationships, creating formidable networks and helping to build supportive and empowering Black LGBT individuals.  We want an atmosphere where Black LGBT individuals are celebrated, respected, honored and adored.  With that being said, and without any certainty of a doubt, "Solidly United: Building the Black LGBT Community Brick by Brick", will help us to generate action steps that will unify our community and solidify our identity as Black LGBT individuals.

This year marks the third year of bringing local and national leaders within various disciplines from across the United States to Tennessee in an effort to address the health and wellness of Black Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender [LGBT] people living in the South.  Saving Ourselves Symposium is the only Technical Assistance symposium of its kind, especially devoted to providing a safe environment to discuss prudent issues, identifying best practices, and providing technical assistance to direct care providers that work specifically with Black LGBT individuals, with an emphasis on individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

The 2015 Saving Ourselves Symposium is slated for June 4-7, 2015 at the Sheraton Memphis Downtown.

Participant Registration is free and opens March 2, 2015.  We have opportunities for sponsors and exhibits, inquire at info@trdfmemphis.com.
